As part of the preparations for the CONVEX-3 (2025) exercise, a technical meeting was held at the IAEA headquarters in Vienna in July 2024, between the Romanian delegation, consisting of representatives from CNCAN and the Ministry of Internal Affairs, and the IAEA team.
The purpose of the meeting was to jointly develop the Master Event List for the ConvEx-3 (2025) exercise scenario. Key events, including those related to cybersecurity and physical protection, were uploaded into the platform used for organizing the exercise, thus completing the “Master Event List.”
During the meeting, details regarding the organization of future events were discussed and established, with a detailed action plan set for the upcoming period. Key preparation steps were addressed, and the necessary coordination between all involved parties was outlined to ensure the success of the exercise.
As a result of the meeting, the following measures were established: the uploading of key events into the “Master Event List,” the creation of a detailed action plan for the next stages, and the strengthening of coordination between the involved parties. This meeting was an important step in ensuring the success of the CONVEX-3 (2025) exercise, reinforcing international partnerships and establishing a clear framework for the next stages of preparation.
