Public transportation
Public transport in Bucharest is varied and accessible, offering multiple options for quick travel across the city. The well-developed system includes buses, trolleybuses, trams, and the metro. The metro is particularly efficient, with four lines covering most of the major areas of the capital. Tickets for public transport are available at ticket machines and can be used for all types of transport. Additionally, there are taxi services and ridesharing apps that make it easy to travel around the city quickly.
Surface transportation
Surface transport in Bucharest includes busses, trams and trolleys. Tickets can be bought via SMS the 24Pay app, at designated STB stores, or directly (card,contactless) public transportation vehicles displaying the VISA and Mastercard logos
Metro
The metro in Bucharest represent a convenient way of navigating throughout the city. Access to the metro stations is permitted by tickets or directly paying contactless at the entrance to the platforms.

Train
The train journey from Henri Coandă International Airport (Otopeni) to Gara de Nord is a fast and convenient option for reaching downtown Bucharest. Trains run frequently (every 40 minutes), with a travel time of approximately 20-30 minutes. Tickets can be purchased from machines at the airport or directly on the platform.

An alternative to traditional taxi. Uber and Bolt are the most common ride-sharing options in Bucharest. For electrectric-cars only, Blue is also awailable.
